There are a lot of beautiful cities in the Russian Federation, with rich centuries-old history and culture. Despite their diversity, after all, I have tried to determine the most beautiful cities of Russia.
The first place in the list by rights is St. Petersburg. This city is diverse by its variety of colorful locations. It is rich in museums, monuments, theaters, concert venues, as well as numerous monuments. Whatever it was, in any case, the St. Petersburg authorities have tried to remain its look truly unique. It is for this reason that every newly created project is carefully coordinated. In this case, an important role is public opinion.
Not surprisingly, the second place in the ranking of the most beautiful cities in Russia belongs to Moscow. After all, this city is the capital of the largest state in the world. Despite the fact that numerous hardships fell on Moscow, the city has a large number of monuments. The most attractive places here are the Christ the Savior Cathedral, Arc de Triomphe, the Kremlin, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Arena, the Pushkin Museum, Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, Resurrection Gates and, of course, the Red Square.
Kazan won the third place in the ranking. In addition to this city is both a part of the Russian Federation and has the status of the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. Here two cultures are organically connected to - the Tatar and Russian. It is for this reason that here in the neighborhood may be a Muslim mosque and the Orthodox Church. The main attraction of this city is the Kremlin.
Yekaterinburg takes the fourth place. It is considered the real capital of the Urals. Previously, the city was very rich in architectural monuments. Unfortunately, not all of them survived the Soviet years. Today, the most interesting places in the city are King's Bridge, Maximilianovskaya church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Novo-Tikhvinskaya Monastery, Zheleznov’s Manor, Sevastianov’s House, Rastorguev – Kharitonov’s Manor.
In fifth place is the Nizhny Novgorod. It is located on the banks of the Oka River. There are about 600 monuments in this city, including: wooden church of the Holy Virgin, Church of St John the Baptist, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, and Pechersky Ascension Monastery.
Sixth place is occupied by rights a city of Kaliningrad. It was badly damaged during the Second World War, but it still has not lost its beauty. A certain effect on the uniqueness of it leaves the fact that this city is the most western among the Russian administrative centers.
Seventh place belongs to Novosibirsk on this list. It is worth noting that the city has attracted both with a large number of historical monuments and with many of its modern beauty. The fact that Novosibirsk is still a young city enough and old buildings could not survive numerously.
Probably Sochi took the eighth place for the reason that it is one of the most famous resorts of Russia. Here there is a beautiful landscape, near is the sea, and along the roads exotic plants grow.
In ninth place is the so-called "southern capital" of the Russian Federation - Rostov-on-Don. This city is not only a cultural center, but also an educational one. It has a huge number of parks with lush vegetation. The city has many modern entertainment centers as well.
Krasnoyarsk rounds out the top 10 of the most beautiful cities in Russia. It should be noted that this city perhaps more than any other was voted the most comfortable city throughout the Russian Federation. The uique image of the city is formed by the numerous sculptures, nature reserves and parks.
